COBB COUNTY, Ga. — A man accused of intentionally setting Flock cameras on fire in East Cobb, is under arrest.
Police arrested and charged Colby Williams on Thursday with four counts of criminal damage to property, four counts of arson, reckless conduct and interference with government property.

“I was sitting in my car and all of a sudden I heard this pop,” said Terrie Williams.
Williams was on East Cobb in a Home Depot parking lot off of Roswell Road, when she noticed flames in the distance.
“I looked up and this camera over here was just shooting fire and I was afraid it was going to get on the tree so I immediately called 911,” she said.

Williams saw even more flames just moments later.
“The one behind us started catching on fire and that caught on fire and it was shooting up,” she said.
Police said the suspect intentionally set the cameras on fire earlier this week.
“There were at least three in Cobb County and I believe others took place in Marietta and possible henry county,” said Sgt. Eric Smith.
Investigators said a Home Depot employee saw the suspect’s car leave the scene before it headed to East Cobb Park where police said two other cameras were vandalized.
“There were some that belonged to Cobb County government including Cobb County Police Department and there were others that were privately owned,” said Sgt. Smith
Sgt. Smith praised detectives for following up on leads and solving the case so quickly. He said Flock cameras ultimately helped them track Williams vehicle.
