ATLANTA — A person is dead after they were hit by a train early Tuesday morning in Atlanta.
It happened around 2 a.m. along Murphy Avenue SW.
Atlanta police confirmed the person died from their injuries.
Norfolk Southern said there were no reported injuries to anyone aboard the train.
The person’s identity has not been released at this point.
