Fog advisory in effect until Monday morning

A fog advisory is now in effect and will continue until 9 a.m. Monday for all of north Georgia extending into middle Georgia.

Areas of dense fog will become more problematic as we head into the overnight hours, said Severe Weather Team 2 meteorologist Katie Walls.

Walls said the fog advisory could be extended depending upon how foggy conditions are. She went on to say that at 10 a.m. Monday there will still be periods of dense fog in the metro.
