Driver cited for DUI after hitting school bus in Hall County

Six students on board the bus complained of injuries and were treated at the scene.

HALL COUNTY, Ga. — Two students and a driver were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries Monday afternoon following a crash involving a school bus carrying 28 students in Hall County.

The crash happened shortly after 2:38 p.m. at the intersection of Wessell Drive and Dixon Drive.

According to the Georgia State Patrol, 39-year-old Kelley Ingram of Gainesville was driving in a 2026 Chrysler Pacifica when she failed to stop at a stop sign and hit the bus.

GSP issued Ingram a citation for driving under the influence and failure to stop at a stop sign.
