Investigators say early details point to the shooting being the result of a robbery involving drugs. They say the incident was targeted and the public is not in any danger.
Police say that three people were shot. A 17-year-old boy died at the scene and two people are hospitalized at Grady Memorial Hospital. Their conditions are unknown.
No details on possible suspects has been released.
