Atlanta Dream to start playing at State Farm Arena

ATLANTA — The Atlanta Dream are moving to State Farm Arena.

Team officials announced on Tuesday that starting with the 2027 season, all 25 of the Dream’s home games will be played at State Farm Arena, the home of the Atlanta Hawks.

β€œThis is an exciting next chapter for the Atlanta Dream, and a direct reflection of the exciting style of play that is Dream basketball, the passion of our fans and the incredible growth of this franchise,” said Morgan Shaw Parker, president and COO of the Atlanta Dream.

Currently, the WNBA team plays at Gateway Center Arena in College Park. State Farm Arena gives thousands of more fans the opportunity to see the Dream.

Over the last three seasons, the Dream have sold out every home game at Gateway Center Arena.

Over the last several years, Dream officials say they have seen substantial growth in ticket sales and season ticket sales.

Earlier this year, the Atlanta Dream added star player Angel Reese to the roster. She became the first Dream player to be named the WNBA Defensive Player of the Year.
