Atlanta-based Chick-fil-A postpones ‘Cow Appreciation Day’

ATLANTA — You can put away your cow costumes because Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-fil-A is being postponed.

The beloved Atlanta-based fast food restaurant announced that the annual tradition will happen later this year.

It’s been something that many people have done since 2005 -- dress up like a cow and you can enjoy a free Chick-fil-A entree.

On its Cow Appreciation Day website, Chick-Fil-A said it “made this decision with the communities we serve in mind, keeping Safe Service as our highest priority at this time.”

The 2019 event was held on July 9.

Recently, Chick-fil-A was named top restaurant for customer satisfaction for 6th year in a row.
