HABERSHAM COUNTY, Ga. — A crash between a SUV and tractor-trailer crash ended with a driver and 8-year-old girl injured in Habersham County.
Georgia State Patrol confirmed to Channel 2 Action News that the girl had to be airlifted to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

Crash investigators said they determined the Kia Soul driver had been following the truck too closely.
The crash happened on Ga. 365 at Alto-Mud Creek Road around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. Troopers said the driver of a 2012 Kia Soul crashed into a tractor-trailer carrying logs.
Troopers said the Kia Soul driver was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center with minor injuries. The 8-year-old had serious injuries, but is stable. The tractor-trailer driver was not injured.
