The Battery Atlanta celebrates first Christmas tree lighting - Friday, Dec. 1
Braves pitcher Mike Foltynewicz and Santa Claus will flip the switch on the giant tree. The night includes carolers, the Big Chicken Chorus and a viewing of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas (7:15 p.m. start). Flashlight Friday Night - Friday, Dec. 1
This 3-mile urban hike will start at the Lefont Theater and continue through the heart of Sandy Springs at Heritage Green. It goes through Sandy Springs City Walk, the Sandy Springs amphitheater before heading back to the Lefont Theater. An optional movie at the theater is $11.50, but the hike is free.
Deck the Hall - Saturday, Dec. 2
Head to the Duluth Town Green and enjoy a free snow playground on Main Street, free snow slides, free kids crafts, free train rides with Mrs. Claus and free visits with Santa. A tree lighting caps the night.
Caffeine & Octane car show - Sunday, Dec. 3
Caffeine and Octane is a nationally recognized all makes, all models car show that regularly attracts over 2000 vehicles and 15,000 fans. The event is held (rain or shine) the first Sunday morning of each month from 8-11 a.m. at Perimeter Mall in Dunwoody. See Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Porsches, muscle cars, vintage rides and everything in between. It's FREE to attend and display your car.

Head to the Marietta park for Christmas music performances by local groups, welcome Santa on his light-powered sleigh, and then tell him what good girls and boys want for Christmas! It's family fun for all!
