• Battery Atlanta hosts free tree lighting with player, Santa

    ATLANTA - The Battery Atlanta will celebrate the beginning of the holiday season with their inaugural Christmas Tree lighting ceremony on Friday, Dec. 1. Braves pitcher Mike Foltynewicz and Santa Claus will flip the switch on the giant tree.

    Following the tree lighting, stay for a showing of How the Grinch Stole Christmas starring Jim Carrey on the large screen in the Plaza. The event is free to attend.

    There are free photos with Santa Claus every Friday, Saturday and Sunday in the SunTrust OnUp Experience inside The Battery Atlanta, too.
