GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Gwinnett County police are looking for witnesses in a stabbing of a Shiloh High School student.
The teen told police that he was walking on the side of the road near Valley Brook Road in unincorporated Snellville around 7:51 a.m. when a man wearing a black hoodie and a mask stabbed him.
The teen called his mother after the stabbing and he was treated for non-life threatening injuries, police said.
Police later arrested a suspect after searching the area.
Officers are "doing follow-up at Shiloh High School." Police said the incident did not occur on school property but somewhere along Valley Brook Drive.

A student, who did not want to reveal their identity, told Channel 2's Tony Thomas a classmate walked up covered in blood.
"He was holding up here and his whole shirt was bloody and I was, like, 'Yo, what happened?' and he said, 'I need y'all to go.'"
Before leaving, the teen and his friend gave the victim a blanket to help cover the wound.
Police told Thomas they later went to talk to this teen and a friend who was with him to find out more information about exactly what they saw.
"It's very scary in a sense but at the same time, I don't even understand why someone would do that," a witness said.
Investigators told Thomas they plan on interviewing the wounded teen at length once he has received emergency treatment.
