Protect your plants and pets: Freeze warning, frost advisory issued in north Georgia

ATLANTA — If you thought spring weather was here to stay, think again. Colder air returns this weekend to north Georgia.

Meteorologist Brian Monahan says there will be enough cold air and moisture around for a chance for a few flurries or mix showers over the mountains.

Overnight, there will be a freeze warning in the mountains tonight and a frost advisory in the northwest suburbs.
