It’s sunny skies across north Georgia on Wednesday, but some stormy changes are in store for later this week.
Severe Weather Team 2 is watching a low pressure system in the Gulf that is moving toward the coast. Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Brian Monahan says the system will bring a chance for isolated storms.

Monahan says this system will have a tropical look to it. A brief spin-up tornado is possible east of the track.
A strong to severe storm is possible.

- Mostly sunny and warmer Wednesday – highs in the mid 70s
- Showers and isolated storms increase in coverage later Thursday and off and on through Friday.
- Bands of rain are likely to move through.
