St. Pius cancels football game with Blessed Trinity

The COVID-19 pandemic sidelines yet another football game.

Blessed Trinity canceled its first two football games against Forsyth Central and Marist because of the pandemic. On Tuesday, St. Pius X, Blessed Trinity’s opponent for this week’s game, had to do the same.

The announcement came via Facebook.

Blessed Trinity is still wanting to play Saturday and is looking for an opponent.

The game had been moved from Friday night to Saturday to give Blessed Trinity an extra day to work through the Georgia High School Association’s return to play policy with players coming out of quarantine.
