NASHVILLE — The Georgia Bulldogs remain undefeated after they absolutely destroyed Vanderbilt 62-0 in front of some 32,000 stunned fans in Nashville, Tennessee.

Before many fans made it to their seats in Vandy’s Memorial Stadium, Georgia had scored 35 points in a first quarter that featured two touchdowns by freshman tight end Brock Bowers and two by freshman wide receiver Ladd McConkey.

Quarterback J.T. Daniels only played the first quarter, throwing for 121 yards and a pair of touchdowns and the Bulldogs ran for five TD’s on the day. Stetson Bennett relieved Daniels in the second quarter and threw two touchdown passes as well.

Georgia’s defense also turned in a dominating performance, holding the Commodores to 77 yards for the entire game while forcing three turnovers.
The win moved the second ranked Bulldogs to 4-0 on the season, and 2-0 in the SEC. Vanderbilt dropped to 1-3 on their season, 0-1 in the conference.
Georgia is expected to face a much bigger test this coming Saturday as undefeated Arkansas comes to Athens fresh off a 20-10 upset win over seventh ranked Texas A&M.
Kickoff for the game is scheduled for noon at what is expected to be a sold out Sanford Stadium.
