MILWAUKEE, WI — A woman says her Fitbit exploded and left her with second-degree burns.
"It didn't heat up first. There was no warning. It burst into flames. It exploded," Dina Mitchell said.
The Milwaukee woman said she had only had the Fitbit Flex 2 for two weeks.

It caught fire last week while she was reading and left burns on her arm.
The woman says Fitbit offered her a refund and told her to remove the device.
The company says customer safety is a priority and it is not aware of any other similar complaints.
