Winning ticket worth $750K sold in Chatsworth

A winning Georgia Lottery ticket worth three-quarters of a million dollars was sold in Chatsworth. Mapco Express #3517, 1194 Highway 76, sold a holiday-themed Jingle Jumbo Bucks instant ticket worth $750,000.

The winner, Brenda Williams of Chatsworth, claimed her prize Dec. 16 at the Georgia Lottery District Office in Dalton.

Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $15.7 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program. More than 1.7 million students have received HOPE, and more than 1.3 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
