WEST POINT, Ga.,None — Kia Motors Manufacturing Georgia, Inc. announced Thursday that it has re-opened its online application process for the third wave of hiring at the West Point automotive facility.
Since its first round of hiring in 2008, Kia has hired more than 2,000 team members to manufacture the Kia Sorento CUV, the top-selling Kia model in the U.S this year, according to a news release.
"We have built a team that has been setting new records for quality and efficiency." said human resources director Randy Jackson. "Their success has paved the way for even more growth, which is why we are moving aggressively to add new team members with a third wave of hiring."
To apply, visit Kiajobsingeorgia.com. The application process is exclusively web-based.
Selected candidates will be invited for additional pre-employment assessment at the Kia Georgia Training Center, which is operated jointly by Georgia Quick Start and Kia Motors Manufacturing Georgia.
"Our current team has set a high standard of performance," Jackson said. "Now we're looking for still more candidates who want to take on the challenge of becoming the world's best ‘industrial athletes.' Once again, we're asking everyone, ‘Can you make it?'"
