FREEHOLD, NJ — A woman experienced a scare while shopping at a mall in suburban New Jersey.
Video shows her purse smoking and flames shooting out while checking out.
The woman said the cause was the spare battery she had for her vaping device, but wasn't attached to it at the time.
The video showed the woman knock the Louis Vuitton bag off the counter. No one was injured.
