Jackson Hoey, 21, of Allegheny County, was charged with felony burglary and criminal trespassing, according to the Pennsylvania State Police.

According to a criminal complaint, the woman told troopers that her house had also been ransacked, the television station reported.

According to troopers, a homeowner in Loretto Borough on Sunday called authorities after reporting that she found Hoey passed out in a living room chair in her home, WJAC reported.

Troopers said they attempted to wake Hoey, but he was slow to respond and smelled of alcohol, according to the criminal complaint.

Hoey told troopers that he did not know the woman and “had no idea how he got there” after a night of drinking with friends, WJAC reported.

Hoey has a preliminary hearing scheduled for April 21.
