Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany Mahomes have announced the birth of their son — Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III.
The couple made the announcement on Instagram.
Brittany Mahomes was at the game on Sunday, the day before Bronze was born, cheering on the Chiefs as they played against the Los Angeles Rams.
Bronze was born Monday and weighed 7 pounds, 8 ounces, the post read.
In a post from Sunday night, she told her Twitter followers she was not in labor.
The baby joins big sister, 20-month-old Sterling Skye, People magazine reported.
The Mahomes announced their baby news in May, saying that they were due in early 2023. They had married two months prior in Hawaii and had been engaged in September 2020, E! News reported.
The couple were high school sweethearts, according to E! News.
