CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. — A Pennsylvania man is accused of stabbing a woman in the parking lot of a senior living facility who did not have jumper cables, then telling police to “just shoot me” when they arrived, authorities said.
Victor Lee Kealey, 41, of Saltsburg, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with one felony count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and misdemeanor counts of recklessly endangering another person, resisting arrest, terroristic threats, and disorderly conduct, according to Cambria County online court records. He was also charged with harassment, online records show.
According to the Ebensburg Police Department, officers were called to the Cambridge Ebensburg senior living facility at about 5:30 p.m. EST on Wednesday, WTAJ-TV reported.
Police said a woman called 911, saying that a man had stabbed her in the face after he approached her in the parking lot of the facility and asked if he had jumper cables, according to WJAC-TV.
Police arriving at the scene located Kealey sitting in his vehicle in the facility’s parking lot, the television station reported.
According to a criminal complaint, Kealey allegedly told an officer to “just shoot me” and “you know what I did” before he exited his vehicle and “walked aggressively” toward them, according to WTAJ.
A second officer used a stun gun to subdue Kealey, WJAC reported. Officers said they discovered several knives and belt holsters in his vehicle, including the knife allegedly used to stab the victim, according to the television station.
Kealey was arrested and booked into the Cambria County Jail. His bail was set at $100,000, according to online court records.
Kealey’s next court appearance is scheduled for March 7, online records show.
