ATLANTA — Halloween may look a little different this year but there’s nothing stopping us from dressing up!
No matter what your plans are you can still celebrate Halloween with a fun and creative costume.
Google just released its annual “Frightgeist” of trending costumes so we can all get a little Halloween inspiration.
In lieu of those classic Halloween activities, the CDC recommends people try what it describes as “lower risk activities” to celebrate the holiday this year amid the global pandemic. Those activities include socially distanced pumpkin carving, decorating your house, having a virtual costume contest, doing an outdoors Halloween scavenger hunt and having a “scavenger hunt-style trick-or-treat search” indoors with members of your household.
The “Frightgeist” takes a look at all of the costumes trending in the month of September in the United States.
“This September’s trending Halloween costumes are action-packed: Martial arts gurus and dungeon masters take the lead, followed by Jedis and cowgirls that are out of this world—literally,” according to Google.
Some of our favorites include Woody and Jessie, corgi stegosaurus and Baby Yoda.
