Fully vaccinated Americans who want to keep proof of their inoculation can get their vaccine card laminated for free at big box office retailers Office Depot and Staples.
The chains are offering the free lamination of COVID-19 vaccine cards at locations across the country. At Office Depot, the promotion is through July 25. Staples is offering the free service through April 3, CBS News reported. Customers should use coupon code 81450 for the deal, WUSA reported.
Card holders should be aware if the lamination will cause damage.

“If your card has stickers that were printed using a thermal printer, then yes, the heat used during the lamination process will turn the sticker black and ruin it,” Staples told WUSA.
If the card is thermal, it is recommended to make a photocopy of it, and laminate the copy. Because the cards contain personal information it is also advised to not share images of them on social media.
