Burger King employee accused of pulling gun on customer over wrong order, police say

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police arrested a fast-food employee Wednesday on suspicion of pulling a gun on a customer over a wrong order, authorities said.

The incident happened during lunch New Year’s Day at the Burger King on Deadrick Avenue in Memphis, according to officials.

Police said Oderrial Moore-Williams, 38, screamed and cursed after a customer said her order had come out wrong. The customer responded by pretending to pull something from her vehicle, authorities said.

Afterward, officials said Moore-Williams went outside and pulled out a black handgun, which she pointed at the customer.

Authorities arrested Moore-Williams and booked her into Shelby County Jail on a charge of aggravated assault, according to booking records. She’s expected to appear Friday for her next court date.
