The show will go on despite the coronavirus pandemic as the Billboard Music Awards 2020 nominees were announced Tuesday morning.
The BBMAs will air on Oct. 14 and will be hosted by Kelly Clarkson.
The show had originally been slated for April 29 but was postponed. Clarkson had been named host of the show earlier this year.
The show was supposed to be held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, E! News reported.
The awards are based on fan interactions like tours, social engagement, and album and song sales, Entertainment Tonight reported.
The show will air on NBC at 8 p.m. ET.
