MILWAUKEE — Five members of a Wisconsin family were fatally shot in a Milwaukee home Monday morning, authorities said.
The victims were between the ages of 14 and 41, Milwaukee Police Chief Alfonso Morales said at a news conference. The shooting occurred in the north part of the city around 10:47 a.m., the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported.
It is not clear what led to the shooting, according to WISN.
Morales said a man called police to say “his family was dead,” WISN-TV reported. The man who called was arrested at the scene and a weapon was recovered, the television station reported.
Two police sources, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, told the Journal Sentinel the shooting was being investigated as a possible domestic incident.
A spokesman for the Milwaukee Police Department did not immediately respond to an email seeking additional information, the newspaper reported.
