Toddler dies after getting strangled at daycare, mom says

FONTANA, Calif. — A mother is desperate for answers after she walked into a horrific scene at her son’s daycare center last week.

Danielle Morin said when she arrived at her son’s day care center around 5 p.m. Oct. 5, paramedics were working to revive her 18-month-old son, Deacon.

Morin said she's not convinced. She posted on Facebook saying she has not been satisfied with the investigation. KABC reported that Morin wants the daycare shut down.

Morin said staff at Little Impressions Daycare in Fontana, California, told her Deacon’s amber teething necklace strangled him during his nap.

"I am very disappointed in the lack of respect from the Fontana detectives," Morin wrote on Facebook Tuesday. "This is my baby. Why can't you understand my pain?"
