Pita Pal Foods and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration have announced a recall of hummus because of listeria contamination concerns.

The FDA said the products made by Pita Pal and sold under various brand names were all made between May 30 and June 25, 2019.

Still, Pita Pal officials have issued the recall out of caution.

Listeria was found at the manufacturing location but not the finished product and was discovered during an FDA inspection, the FDA said in the recall announcement.

If you have any questions, you can call Pita Pal at 832-803-9295 or email products@pitapal.com. Company officials say to return the products affected by the recall to the place of purchase for a full refund.
