Must-see: Saguaro cactus impales Arizona driver's windshield

TUCSON, Ariz. — An Arizona driver suffered minor injuries after he crashed into a large saguaro cactus, which impaled his windshield, authorities said.

According to the Arizona Daily Star, the incident occurred Wednesday morning in the Catalina Foothills neighborhood north of Tucson. Pima County sheriff's deputies said 39-year-old Kai Scott drove the vehicle into a median and crashed into the cactus. No other vehicles were involved, the newspaper reported.

The Northwest Fire District tweeted a shocking photo from the scene, which has been "liked" hundreds of times.

Deputies arrested Scott, who faces DUI and criminal damage charges, authorities said.
