In a letter to parents, principal Trudie Donavan encouraged parents to send their children to school as normal on Wednesday.
"An investigation is under way and police already are pursuing good leads. Additionally, we have temporarily increased the number of police officers at the school and taken other steps to increase security. I want to reassure you that Kell High School is a safe learning environment today, tomorrow, and into the future," said Donavan.
