Scary moment: Yankees pitcher hit in face by batted ball

NEW YORK CITY, NY. — It was a very scary moment at the ballpark Monday night when New York Yankees pitcher Bryan Mitchell was hit in the face by a batted baseball.

It happened during the second inning of the Yankees game vs. the Minnesota Twins. Eduardo Nunez hit a shot straight up the middle. Mitchell had no time to react and couldn't get his glove up in time.
