Pregnant Woman, Child Survive Triple Shooting

ATLANTA,None — Police are investigating a triple shooting in southwest Atlanta that left two people injured and one person dead, Channel 2 Action News reporter Ryan Young confirmed.

The shooting took place at about 1:30 p.m. Monday at a Texaco gas station in the 3200 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.

Investigators said a man driving a Honda Civic pulled into the gas station, exited his car and opened fire on another vehicle, killing a man and injuring a 19-year-old pregnant woman and a 2-year-old child. They were taken to area hospital, said Atlanta Police Officer K.Y. Jones.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office identified the dead man as 19-year-old La'deddric Love. Police also identified the pregnant woman as Tedra Jordan and the child as Jeniya Love. Jordan was shot in the buttocks and calf, and Love was shot in the foot, police said.

Atlanta police sources told Young that the gunman is still at large.

Police said they don't have a motive for the shooting.

Investigators are reviewing video from the gas station.
