Police: Gang Members Stole PlayStation In SpongeBob Backpack

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. — Three suspected gang members have been arrested in Gwinnett County after, police say, they were allegedly caught with stolen video game equipment.

Investigators came in contact with the men on April 5. One of them had a SpongeBob SquarePants backpack with a PlayStation 3 and several games in it, according to police.

Police said they ran the serial number on the game system but it had not been reported stolen.

The next day, Gwinnett County Police were called about a robbery that happened three days earlier where a PlayStation 3 was taken with the matching serial number.

Police arrested Xavier "Zae" Morgan, 17, Deagas "Suede" Hall, 17 and another man identified as "Young Slam," 16, on outstanding arrest warrants for burglary.

"Young Slam," was charged on a juvenile complaint and released to the custody of his parents.
