DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A shooting at a DeKalb County hair salon is now a homicide investigation.
DeKalb police said 36-year-old Salahuddin Salaam was shot at the "Hair We Are" salon Thursday has died.
According to a police spokesperson, the shooting happened at the salon on Memorial Drive in Decatur mid-day Thursday
Police say the shooter came into the salon to get his haircut then pulled out a gun. Police say he robbed the salon and shot the barber several times then ran away.
Sallam was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital in critical condition and later died.
