WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Texas — A "suspected" turtle seen crossing the road escaped capture by local authorities.
The Williamson County Sheriff posted the video of the deputy attempting to move the turtle out of the road but it scurried away.
The playful video has been seen thousands of times.
The turtle's whereabouts are currently unknown.
