Montlick & Associates Most Deserving Family VISIT FLORIDA Vacation Contest
OFFICIAL RULES
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR TO WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR ODDS OF WINNING. ALL FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
Eligibility. Subject to the additional restrictions below, the WSB-TV Montlick & Associates Deserving Military Family Contest (the "Contest") is open to residents of the state of Georgia who are 18 years or older at the time of entry. Employees of WSB-TV, Montlick & Associates, VISIT FLORIDA, and each of its respective affiliated companies, and advertising and promotional agencies, and the immediate family members of, and any persons domiciled with, any such employees, are not eligible to enter or to win. The term "immediate family members" includes spouses, parents, grandparents, siblings, children, and grandchildren.
For the purposes of this Contest, WSB-TV and Montlick & Associates, Attorneys are referred to as "Sponsors" in the official rules.
How To Enter. The Contest will begin at 10:00 a.m. on May 31, 2010 and end at 5:00 p.m. on July 11, 2010 (the "Contest Period"). There are three (3) steps necessary to enter the Contest. Step 1: Complete an Official Entry Form available at wsbtv.com. Step 2: Attach at least one (1) photo with a brief essay of no more than two hundred (200) words in length explaining why the Family is the Most Deserving Military Family and should be chosen for the Grand Prize. Step 3: All entries must be received by June 16, 2010. All entries must have photographs and essays that are the original work of a Contestant. Do not copy the work of others. Maximum one (1) entry per household. For purposes of these Official Rules, a "household" includes all people who share the same residence for at least three (3) months a year, regardless of familial relationships.
Sponsors will not be responsible for incomplete, lost, late, misdirected or illegible entries. Any questions regarding the number of entries submitted shall be determined by Sponsors in its sole discretion. All entries become the property of Sponsors and none will be returned.
Sponsors will not be responsible for incomplete, lost, late, or for failure to receive entries due to transmission failures or technical failures of any kind, including, without limitation, malfunctioning of any network, hardware or software, whether originating with sender or Sponsors. In the event of a dispute, all online entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the owner of the ISP account from which they were sent. For these purposes, an ISP account holder shall mean the natural person assigned to such ISP account by the Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning ISP addresses for the domain associated with such ISP account. Any questions regarding the number of entries or the owner of an ISP account shall be determined by Sponsors in its sole discretion, and Sponsors reserve the right to disqualify any entries by persons determined to be tampering with or abusing any aspect of the Contest.
Contestants acknowledge and agree that Sponsors shall have the right to edit, adapt, modify, reproduce, publish, promote, or otherwise display or use entries in any way it sees fit without limitation or compensation to entrants.
Winner Selection. A panel of judges selected by Sponsors will judge all eligible entries. Judges will select the top 5 entries and the entries will be posted to wsbtv.com. On or about June 18, 2010 the (5) five finalists will be selected and be notified. The finalist entries selected by the Contest Judges will be posted on the wsbtv.com Montlick & Associates Deserving Military Family Contest page. Sponsors reserve the right in its sole discretion to the edit the Finalist's entries and post only the photographs and/or essays that Sponsors believe most clearly depicts the Contestant's family and reason for winning the Most Deserving Family Contest. wsbtv.com website visitors will vote for the Finalists that they believe is the most Deserving Military Family between June 28 and July 11, 2010. One (1) Grand Prize Winner will be selected based on the largest number of online votes received on or about July 12, 2010. In the event of a tie in online votes, the Contest Judges will reevaluate the tied entries to select one (1) Grand Prize Winner.
Prizes and Odds. One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive a trip for 4 courtesy of Montlick and Associates, Visit Florida, and its partners, including: Round trip air transportation for 4 on AirTran Airways Four (4) nights' accommodations at Orlando World Center Marriott Resort Wet N Wild for four (4) activity package Disney Park Hopper passes for 2 days for four (4) people. Car Rental 5 days (including gas allowance)
Approximate Retail Value for the entire grand prize is $4,431
Odds of winning are based on the number of eligible entries received by the contest end date.
By accepting the Grand Prize, Grand Prize Winner expressly agrees to release and hold harmless the Sponsors and other Released Parties from any and all liabilities, claims, damages, costs and expenses arising out of the Contest.
Winner Notification and Acceptance. Most Deserving Family Winner will be notified on or about July 12, 2010 at the telephone number provided on the entry form. Sponsors inability to reach the Grand Prize winner on or about July 19, 2010, return of any prize notification as undeliverable and/or a winner's failure to timely respond to prize notification may result in that winner's disqualification, the forfeiture of his or her interest in all prizes, and the selection of a substitute winner from among the remaining eligible entries. To claim prize, the Grand Prize winner must personally visit WSB-TV, 1601 West Peachtree Street, Atlanta, GA 30309 within thirty (30) business days after notification (office visits must be between the hours of 9 a.m. (E.S.T.) and 5 p.m. (E.S.T.) weekdays) and must present a valid photo identification. Winners may waive their right to receive prizes. Prizes are nonassignable and nontransferable. No substitutions allowed by winner. Prizes and individual components of prize packages are subject to availability and Sponsors reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value. The Grand Prize Winner is solely responsible for all taxes on the Grand Prize and Sponsors will issue an IRS Form 1099 to Grand Prize Winner. Winners may be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility certifying that the entrant's submission is entrant's original work, that entrant owns right to the work, and that entrant has complied with the Official Rules of the Contest, and a liability and publicity release (except where prohibited by law), which must be returned within ten (10) days of date of personal delivery or date of postmark. Failure to sign and return the affidavit or release within ten (10) days, or to comply with any term or condition of these Official Rules, may result in a winner's disqualification, the forfeiture of his or her interest in the prize, and the award of the prize to a substitute winner. Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of any prize constitutes winner's consent to the publication of his or her name, biographical information and likeness in any media, for any commercial or promotional purpose, without limitation or further compensation. Prizes not won and claimed by eligible winners in accordance with these Official Rules will not be awarded and will remain the property of Sponsors.
Participation. By participating, contestants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsors. Sponsors. In the event the Contest is compromised by a virus, non-authorized human intervention, tampering or other causes beyond the reasonable control of Sponsors which corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness or proper operation of the Contest, Sponsors reserve the right in its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Contest. Should the Contest be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, Sponsors reserves the right to award prizes based on the entries received before the termination date.
Copyright. By entering the Contest, each contestant grants to Sponsors an exclusive, royalty-free and irrevocable right and license to publish, print, display, edit or otherwise use the contestant's submitted entry, in whole or in part, for any purpose and in any manner or media (including, without limitation, the Internet) throughout the world in perpetuity, and to license others to do so, all without limitation or further compensation. Each contestant further agrees that if his/her entry is selected by Sponsors as the winning entry, he/she will sign any additional license or release that Sponsors may require.
Construction. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any such provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, these rules shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or unenforceable provision was not contained therein.
Sponsors. The Montlick & Associates Deserving Military Family Contest is sponsored by WSB-TV and Montlick & Associates, Attorneys. The decisions of Sponsors and the Contest judges regarding the selection of winners and all other aspects of the Contest shall be final and binding in all respects. Sponsors will not be responsible for typographical, printing or other inadvertent errors in these Official Rules or in other materials relating to the Contest.
