DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — Channel 2 Action News has learned that a missing limo driver's wrecked car turned up on Interstate 85 Saturday.
About 100 members of the Ethiopian community came together Tuesday night to distribute fliers and ask people to spread the word about missing limo driver 33-year-old Negero Debero.
Family and friends learned Wednesday that his crashed car was found on I-85 in Gwinnett County on Saturday. Friends said they will check with local hospitals to see if they have a John Doe patient who may be Debero.
Friends last saw Debero driving away from a DeKalb County shopping center on Saturday morning.
"He's a very responsible person," Bruck Eyob told Channel 2's Richard Elliot. "He just wouldn't disappear. And more than anything, he has a little girl, and she's been asking for him constantly."
Debero's friends say they are offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to his whereabouts.
