Man, Woman With Child Use Stolen Credit Card At Walmart

DALTON, Ga.,None — Officials with the Dalton Police Department said they hope someone will recognize two people who are suspected of using a stolen credit card to make more than $1,100 in purchases at the Walmart on Shugart Road.

Police said a woman realized her wallet had been stolen from Tiger Creek Elementary School on Oct. 1 and immediately called to cancel her cards. Police said the woman's American Express card had already been used at the Walmart.

Surveillance video from the store showed two people, a man and a woman, entering the store together and the man purchasing a large, flat-screen Vizio high-definition TV. The two people walked out of the store separately, and the woman was holding the hand of a child as she left, police said.

Anyone with information on the identity of either suspect is asked to please contact Detective Jason Bishop with the Dalton Police Department at 706-278-9085, extension 214.
