CHEROKEE COUNTY, Ga. — Deputies said they have identified the man behind the theft of several saddles from a Cherokee County child therapy program.
Last Friday, eight saddles were stolen from the nonprofit BEATS, a horse and aquatic therapy organization, deputies said. Twenty-year-old Canton resident Cody Boaz is wanted for the burglary, Cherokee County Sheriff's Office spokesman Jay Baker said.
Detectives found eight of the saddles on Friday, Baker said. He said deputies searched Boaz's home and found evidence linking him to the theft, but he wasn't home. Anyone with information on Boaz's whereabouts is asked to contact Cherokee County 911.
