ATLANTA,None — Atlanta police are looking for two women who stole more than $9,000 in products from a beauty supply store.
Police showed Channel 2’s Ryan Young surveillance video of a robbery at an Ulta store in Buckhead. They said it’s the latest incident in a spree of Ulta robberies in the metro Atlanta area.
Surveillance video showed the two women entering the store and heading straight for an aisle, grabbing items. When a store employee asked one woman if she needed help, the woman takes off.
“She starts running, pushes by them. Then she’ll go to the door,” Atlanta police Det. Nathan Deaton said while showing Young the video.
Both women ran towards the door, but one of them grabbed two boxes on her way out. Deaton said they had an accomplice waiting outside in a getaway car.
“They’re very comfortable doing it. This isn’t their first or second time,” he told Young.
The store has since stepped up its security, hiring a guard to man the door.
