CITY OF SOUTH FULTON, Ga. — City of South Fulton authorities confirmed an active shooter situation on Flat Shoals Road in South Fulton.
Residents are being urged to avoid the area and follow all directions from law enforcement.
Police in South Fulton told Channel 2 Action News a man has barricaded himself in a home in the City of South Fulton and wounded his wife.

Officers responded to a domestic situation around 7:34 p.m. in the 3000 block of Flat Shoals Road.
The man has shot at officers, but no officers have been wounded.

Police said the wife of the man was shot in the leg.
Another person was able to get out of the house unharmed.
