ATLANTA — A system will be bringing rain to some areas in Georgia and snow in other parts of the state.
A Winter Storm Warning and watch has been issued for areas in north Georgia beginning at 7 p.m. tonight.
Our Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologists have been tracking the system. Sleet is already falling in parts of metro Atlanta.

The heaviest snow is expected in parts of the north Georgia mountains, but some areas in metro Atlanta could see some wet snow mix.
