Wet pattern will dictate the upcoming work week

A wet pattern brewing will keep this coming week soggy.

On Sunday, a Severe Thunderstorm Warning was issued for parts of northeast Georgia including Clarke, Oconee, SE Jackson, Oglethorpe and Madison counties until 8:30 p.m.

Drivers in Coweta, Clayton and South Fulton counties were urged to give themselves extra time on the roads. Triple Team Traffic reported heavy storms created wet road conditions along I-85 and I-75 and south of I-285.

As it increases to the south, it will be increasing our rain changes dramatically into the work week.

Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Katie Walls says an area of low pressure to our north would dictate the weather this coming week.
