ATLANTA — Waffle House is looking to expand its menu and testing out a new item: Tacos.
Yes, you can get tacos smothered and covered for a limited time.

Waffle House will offer a variety of breakfast tacos and lunch-dinner tacos. The breakfast taco options include your choice of protein (bacon, sausage, chicken sausage or ham) with egg and cheese. The lunch-dinner tacos are your choice of protein (chicken melt, cheesesteak melt or patty melt) with grilled onions and cheese.
Right now, the tacos are only available at about 45 metro Atlanta locations. You can click here to find a Waffle House near you and see if tacos are on the menu.

Waffle House has become a national treasure since it opened seven decades ago. It now operates more than 1,700 restaurants in 25 states. The Atlanta institution will celebrate its 71st birthday on Sept. 5.
