FLOYD COUNTY, Ga. — Authorities are searching for the driver who hit a teenager along a road and just drove off.
The Floyd County police department posted video on social media of the incident that happened on July 19.
Police said a 19-year-old was walking along Alabama Highway after midnight when a car drove into the teen. The teen laid on the road for several minutes before anyone recognized that he was injured.

Investigators are asking for tips from anyone who may have witnessed the accident or who may know who the driver is. Tips can be directed to Investigator Esteffany Guzman.
