BARTOW COUNTY, Ga. — One person is dead and another is hurt after a tractor-trailer crash and fire in Cartersville.
The injured person was transported to a nearby hospital, Sgt. Jonathan Rogers with Bartow County Sheriff's Office told Channel 2 Action News.
The tractor-trailer was in a wreck on Highway 411 and caught fire Tuesday morning, which spread to a nearby house, Cartersville Fire Chief Scott Carter confirmed to Channel 2 Action News.
The Bartow County Coroner confirms that the victim who died was in the truck. The victim that was taken to the hospital was inside the house.

The highway will be shut down for a while, Carter said.
The Cartersville Police Department said drivers should find alternate routes.
