DAWSONVILLE, Ga. — A Toys “R” Us store is coming to a north Georgia outlet mall soon, part of an expansion for major toy brand back from bankruptcy.

A standalone store is coming to the North Georgia Premium Outlets in Dawsonville, according to a spokesperson and the outlets’ website.
The store opening timeline hasn’t been disclosed. It’s listed as “coming soon.”
The planned Dawsonville Toys “R” Us comes amid a major store expansion for the once-beleaguered chain.
Toys ”R” Us announced Thursday that they plan to open 120 standalone stores nationwide in time for the holidays in partnership with Go! Retail Group.

Toys ”R” Us currently has 40 standalone stores and locations inside Macys stores nationwide.
“This is a major moment for Toys ‘R’ Us as we significantly expand our presence across the United States,” Jamie Uitdenhowen, executive vice president of Toys “R” Us at parent company WHP Global, said in a statement.
The company closed its stores by 2018 after filing for bankruptcy in 2017, ABC News reports.
