ATLANTA — TUESDAY WEATHER SUMMARY
Low pressure spinning along the east coast is sending dry air southward, which will keep rain chances low the next several days.
The best chances of an isolated shower or storm will be across the east metro counties.
Severe Weather Team 2 says highs through Saturday will average in the upper-80s to near 90.
Chief Meteorologist Glenn Burns says temperatures will be in the low-to-mid 80s Tuesday evening with a partly cloudy sky.
LOOKING AHEAD
Wednesday will start with a few clouds and temperatures in the upper 60s to lower 70s.
As the day goes on, Glenn says it will be dry and unseasonably warm.
Severe Weather Team 2 says that the average high for this time of year is 81, but temperatures will be closer to 90.
For the first day of fall on Thursday, you can expect cloud cover and temperatures in the 70s to start the day.
By late this weekend, a wedge front will move in from the north and start to push temperatures downward, and add more clouds.
Severe Weather Team 2 says there will be isolated shower chances into early and mid-week next week.
