ATLANTA — Sunday alcohol sales started today in three new areas.
Voters lifted the ban in Marietta, Buford and unincorporated Forsyth County.
The vote also passed overwhelmingly in DeKalb County, and sales begin in the unincorporated areas there on May 1. A month later on June 1, sales can start in incorporated Cobb County. The vote passed there by a margin of 2-1.
